About Us

Dawn Michelle Nash is complete wedding professional starting off originally as a certified wedding planner and commissioned by the state of Hawaii as a wedding officiant. However, over the years as Dawn watched the wedding photographers she realized she was on the wrong side of the lens. She began to study photography and apprenticed under professional photographer Ron Ebright for two years before finally going out on her own. Starting with small, simple beach weddings and moving up to larger and more challenging shoots Dawn worked her way from apprentice to an award winning professional. In 2006, 2007 & 2008 Dawn won multiple awards for her photography skills including an editor's choice award and an Excellence in Photography award as well. Her unique background as a wedding planner and officiant gives her an amazing perspective that bride's love.

Beyond weddings Dawn specializes in Boudoir photography where she focuses on what she calls "the tease" method. The tease is where a client may or may not be clothed during the shoot itself but in the images they never fully expose themselves. The client or subject would hint or tease at their nudity or sexuality but never actually reveals anything which keeps the viewer wanting more.

Dawn resides on the island of Oahu with her husband Michael and two children Rose and Dylan. Being a mom, she works very well with children and in family shoots. She's patient and fun getting even the fussiest baby or busy little boy to get it together for a great shot!
