What is Wedding Photographer Oahu?
Dawn M. Nash is the primary photographer and founder of Wedding Photographer Oahu with a few select associate photographers who may serve as back-up, replacement in case of emergency or a second shooter when double person coverage is purchased.
About Dawn
Dawn apprenticed under Ron Ebright for about three years on the island of Oahu and is a regular featured photographer with various destination wedding companies throughout the island. While she has been shooting for years, many people have not heard of her by name yet have seen her work on numerous destination Hawaii wedding websites. While building her portfolio and gaining years of valuable experience Dawn was happy to remain one of the unknown company photographers. However, in 2007 Dawn ventured out beyond the company and started Wedding Photographer Oahu where she now offers affordable wedding, event and boudoir photography directly to clients.
In addition to photography Dawn is a self described "Wedding Guru". She specializes in wedding & boudoir photography but is also certified wedding planner, legally commissioned wedding officiant and owner of a destination wedding company. Dawn is better known as the founder and owner of Hawaii Wedding Crashers, a sub-division of Hawaii Funny Business and the creator and producer of the comedic play "My Hawaii Wedding". "Photography, comedy & weddings are my passions and I am so blessed to be able to follow all of my passions" says Nash.
Dawn is married with two children, Rose and Dylan.
Style
Dawn's style of shooting is very relaxed, often playful and never intrusive. Dawn does a balanced combination of traditional portrait, photojournalism and product shots to ensure that she captures a well rounded perspective of the entire event.
Attitude
Dawn is a relaxed, playful professional and is more likely to crack a joke to get you to relax and smile naturally then tell a client to stand still and say cheese. Each shoot is different than the next so Dawn always adapts to each individual event.
Equipment
Dawn uses professional level Nikon cameras with a variety of professional lenses.
